Description

This grain bin unloader is a metal box with a tube to accommodate a 4" auger. It mounts to the included Slide Valve, which attaches to the Poly Boot as pictured below. The auger unloader comes with a stub shaft and bearing for unloading your bin with a 4" diameter auger. It's also available for 6" diameter augers.

Feed Auger Box Features

  • Features a heavy-duty ball bearing anchor and bearing assemblies
  • Side inspection/clean-out plate, easily removed with two wing nuts
  • Large 6 x 10-inch area for grain to drop into the box for unloading
  • Weight - 19 pounds
  • The Auger stub shaft is 5/8"
  • Auger Tube Diameters: OD 4", ID 3-3/4"
  • Does not include clamps

How the auger box attaches to the bottom of the feed bin

The box mounts directly to the slide valve (not part of this product) to allow for grain accumulation in the box. The auger screw is then able to grab the feed and carry it through the auger tube to where it is dispensed!

The box simply creates a collection point under the hopper section below the bin. It requires a poly boot that is connected to the bottom collar that hangs from the Taper Hopper wall section of the bin. These parts allow a transition from the 16-inch diameter opening at the bottom of the bin to a rectangular collection box for the auger to collect loose feed.
