TempShield Single Bubble Double Foil Reflective Insulation
TempShield Single Bubble Double Foil Reflective Insulation is a lightweight, high-performance radiant barrier designed to reduce heat transfer and improve energy efficiency in agricultural, residential, and commercial applications. Featuring a durable single-layer bubble core laminated between two reflective foil surfaces, this insulation helps maintain consistent interior temperatures while acting as an effective vapor and moisture barrier.
By reflecting radiant heat rather than absorbing it, TempShield helps keep spaces cooler in hot conditions and warmer in cold environments. Its flexible, easy-to-handle construction makes installation fast and efficient, even in tight or irregular areas, while its Class A / Class 1 fire rating provides added peace of mind.

How Radiant Heat Transfers Through Roofs
TempShield is used as insulation against radiant heat transfer and can be used to its greatest advantage in instances where radiation is the predominant means of heat transfer. It is the bright aluminum film surface that gives it its insulating properties. This happens in two ways:
It's an excellent reflector of all long-wave radiant heat that strikes it, reflecting up to 95% of all radiant heat.
It will re-radiate only 5% of the heat that comes in close physical contact, compared with the approximate 90% re-radiation of ordinary building materials, at the same temperature.
