SEE ALL OF THE POLY BIN ATTACHMENTS
These slide valves are designed to attach to the Collars (click here) and allow for manual control of the release of grain from your bin. They are shown here already attached, but an order here includes just the white portion, which is the slide valve itself.
The slide valve has a stop on it so it won't slide completely out of the frame, but it does not have a mechanism for locking it shut.

Please note that because the slide is easily operated by pulling on the slide itself, the metal handle is not necessary or included with the valves.
The Slide Valve

The slide valve pictured above bolts directly to the collars which transition the round shape at the bottom of your grain bin to the rectangular slide valve used for dispensing. Below is a picture of the valve coupled with collars cut at different angles to ease the controlled release of feed from the bin.
Slide Valves Installed on the Collar
Slide Valve on a HorizontalCollar: This combination is very popular when manually filling buckets. It is a straightforward operation: simply pull the slide valve open to the desired flow rate and stop with ease by sliding the gate closed again.

Slide Valve on 30-degree Collar: This setup is for a 30-degree release angle from the grain bin. The angle allows for easier manual pulling of the valve without having to bend over as much as on the horizontal valve. If attaching an auger boot unloader to the bottom of the valve, the discharge end of the auger will be higher off the ground. Great for unloading into trailers or other vehicles for transportation.
The valve opening measures 10 7/8” x 6 7/8” ID on the rectangular section that goes over the collar

Slide Valve on a 45-degree Collar: Using the 45-degree collar with the slide valve allows for the highest auger discharge height and is also easy to pull open the slide valve itself without having to bend over as much as the lower angled valves require.

Below is a picture of a slide valve mounted to a 30° collar at the bottom of the feed bin. The auger boot is attached to the bottom of the slide valve.

This picture illustrates a slide valve 45° mounted to the bottom of the feed bin. An auger boot may be attached and would allow for a very high discharge height.

Review of the slide valve and collar combinations
The slide valves are available at three separate angles. The horizontal is best for manually filling buckets directly underneath the bin as it provides the largest ground clearance possible. The 30° angle collar and slide valve are typical when using an auger to unload the feed bin. The 45° is very popular for either manual operation or when an extremely high auger discharge height is necessary for a short or confined area.
Please note that the slide valves are not interchangeable on the various boots. Each slide valve is designed to fit the specific collar designated by the angle of the collar.
