Head Gate Description:
This heavy-duty, automatic cattle head gate from Sioux Steel has a spring return to reset the gate after a release and is designed for use in the Sioux Steel Calving Pen and the Sioux Steel Squeeze Chutes. The gate is adjustable and has some of the largest neck doors available. It may be operated from the left or right hand and have a direct linkage to the action points to eliminate cumbersome ropes, chains. or cables. This headgate can be operated by a single person and weighs approximately 280 pounds.
It includes an injury-reducing spring cushion to provide shock-absorbing action if your cattle were to run into the headgate. This feature helps prevent injury to your animals and your chute as well! It's available in a left or right-handed operation. The auto feature resets the head-gate automatically after release to be ready for the next head to arrive
