Varying the depth of the till with the harrow tines!
The depth of the till can be adjusted by changing the way the tines are pulled. For a deep penetration, pull the harrow forward with the tines pointed slightly backward-facing. A light penetration is achieved with the harrow pulled backward with the tines fully pointing backward and for a smooth pass, simply flip the harrow mat upside down!

Garden Harrow
The harrow is perfect for keeping your soil fresh, turning in seeds and for general maintenance uses. The optional three-point lift allows for precise control of your drag and for transporting the harrow over the ground not intended to be worked.

Driveway Harrow
The harrow is a simple, quick and effective way to maintain your driveways and paths around your farm and ranch with minimal effort. Dragging packed dirt can help prevent erosion and refresh the packed down dirt or crusher fines.

Arena Harrow and Pasture Harrow
One of the most popular uses is for dragging equine arenas but it's also useful in the pasture to spread manure and break up giant clumps while keeping the soil 'open' so it can accept rain water. It's even great for aerating your lawn.

Uses for Harrows
1. Soil Preparation
Harrows are commonly used to prepare soil for planting crops. They break up clods of soil, smooth the surface, and create a loose seedbed, which is ideal for seed germination and root growth.
2. Weed Control
Harrowing can help control weeds by disturbing their growth and exposing weed seedlings to the elements, making them less likely to survive.
3. Aeration
Harrows aerate the soil by loosening compacted areas, allowing air, water, and nutrients to penetrate deeper into the soil, which promotes healthier root development.
4. Incorporating Amendments
Farmers and gardeners use harrows to mix organic matter (such as compost or crop residues) into the soil, improving its structure and fertility.
5. Leveling Ground
Harrows are also used to level uneven terrain, such as after plowing or tilling, creating a more uniform surface for planting or other activities.
6. Breaking Up Crop Residues
After harvesting crops, harrows can be used to break up leftover plant materials, aiding in their decomposition and recycling nutrients back into the soil.
7. Seedbed Preparation
Harrows create a fine, firm seedbed that is essential for proper seed-to-soil contact, which improves seed germination rates and overall crop yields.
