Poly Bulk Bin Collars for Slide Valves
These poly bulk bin collars are specifically designed to fit the poly bulk bins featured on this page. They securely attach the slide valve to the hopper section of the bin, allowing for manual control of the discharge flow beneath the bin. Once the slide valve is in place, you have the option to connect an auger through an unloader box or boot, which mounts directly to the slide valve, ensuring a controlled and efficient grain dispensing process.
Ideal for loading trailers, trucks, or tractor buckets when distributing bulk feed, these collars offer practical and reliable flow control.
The collars have a 16" inside diameter and are available in straight, 30°, and 45° angles. Be sure to select the angle that suits your needs when ordering.
More on the slide valve
Once attached to the bin collar, the slide valve also offers the ability to mount augers to the bin for a mechanical discharge operation. The different cut angles on each collar allow for different auger discharge heights depending on your needs. The 45° angle collar provides the tallest discharge height, the 30° angle is in the middle, and obviously, the horizontal mounting position will provide for a very low drop at the end of the auger.
The three angles of the collar, 0, 30, and 45 degrees, are designed to allow for a slide valve or auger boot unloader to be attached.

Grain Bin Auger Set Up
Below is a picture of the grain bin auger with a straight collar. It's mounted to a straight slide valve, which attaches to the end of the optional auger boot.
For a higher discharge height at the end of the auger, a 30 or 45-degree cut grain bin boot would be used.
