Cattle Guard Specifications
This is the longest of the flattop rail cattle guards, but if a longer distance across the road is desired, they can be bolted end-to-end for a complete and uniform livestock barrier. This particular grid has a hinged clean-out section for keeping the vaulted area underneath clear of debris. The optional wings are also highly recommended for physically connecting to a fence line so your herd won't simply walk around the end post.
The longest of the flat-topped H20-rated cattle guards, this 14' length can be set end-to-end if a longer span is desired. The flat-top rail provides a smoother ride for faster vehicle crossings, and the 16-ton per axle rating is required by the DOT for public roadway construction. It's available with option hinged clean-out sections, precast concrete footings, and wings.
These guards are also available with precast concrete footings, so you don't have to create your forms or pour cement on-site. Simply drop them into the ground in both your guard to the included anchor bolts for a secure and long-lasting connection.
The flat surface on top of the rails is there to provide a smoother ride and is much easier on crossing vehicles than the more aggressive round top rail cattle guard design. The guard is powder-coated for extra longevity and is available in green or safety yellow.

Concrete Cattle Guard Footings
Precast concrete foundations are built and designed for the flat top rail cattle guards, and make installation much easier than hiring a concrete truck and pouring your own cement and footings. They ship with the grid themselves and are ready to be set in place and bolted to the steel crossing for a secure and long-lasting structure.

Cattle Grid Wings
To keep your animals from walking around the end of your fence line where it meets the cattle crossing, install these wings for an effective physical barrier. It is comprised of two pieces, the triangular section known as the wing, and the post that holds the end of the wing up so you may connect your fence line. They are sold in pairs and easily shipped with the grid itself.
