Description
The feed bin unloader box allows you to attach a 6" diameter auger to unload your bulk bin. It is designed to attach to the included Slide Gate, which then attaches to a poly boot for quick and easy unloading.
It includes the metal box pictured here and comes with a stub shaft and bearing for use with a six-inch auger and the slide valve itself (click here). It is also available for the 4" diameter augers (click here).
Features of the Feed Bin Auger Box Unloader
- Heavy-duty ball-bearing anchor and bearing assemblies for increased service life and lower maintenance
- Convenient side inspection/clean-out plate, easily removed with two wing nuts
- Filling area measures 6 X 10 inches
- The stub shaft for the auger is 7/8"
- The auger end tube is OD 6", ID 5-3/4" - SEE PICTURES OF IT BELOW
- Does not include any clamps
Mounting the auger box to your feed bin
The auger box creates a collection point for the auger to draw grain. It mounts directly to the poly boot (shown in black) but does not include the slide valve right on top to provide flow control. The boot is the black section that's connected to the Collar on the bottom of the bin.
This unloader is for a 6" diameter auger and is also available for 4" diameter augers here.

Below are some pictures of the auger box assembly and the heavy-duty stub bearing that drives the auger. It mounts to the end of the auger box and provides a stable and smooth bearing for the end of the auger. The last picture is a picture of the 4" version connected to a 30° poly boot for reference.
